Day-by-day itinerary

  1. Day 1: Private Arusha welcome

    Meet your driver at the airport and transfer to a quiet garden lodge. Keep the evening free, with the safari briefing arranged when you are rested.

  2. Day 2: Tarangire and a slow first evening

    Enter Tarangire for elephants, baobabs and open views. Finish at a small lodge or camp chosen for atmosphere, privacy and a relaxed dinner rather than a rushed onward drive.

  3. Day 3: Tarangire your way

    Take an early drive, linger over breakfast or combine both with a later circuit. Optional activities outside the park can be discussed without filling every hour.

  4. Day 4: Ngorongoro highlands

    Travel into the highlands with a farm lunch, village visit or spa time depending on your interests. Settle in near the crater with the evening kept deliberately unstructured.

  5. Day 5: Ngorongoro Crater

    Descend early and explore the crater floor privately. Your guide selects a scenic picnic place and avoids unnecessary rushing before the climb back to the rim.

  6. Day 6: Into the Serengeti

    Cross the conservation area and reach the Serengeti by road or use a flight depending on the selected camp. Begin exploring the nearby plains in the afternoon.

  7. Day 7: A full Serengeti day

    Choose a full-day drive with picnic or separate morning and afternoon outings. A balloon flight can be requested in advance where available, but the day remains rewarding without it.

  8. Day 8: Serengeti farewell

    Enjoy a final sunrise and breakfast before flying to Arusha, Zanzibar or another Tanzania destination. Transfers are timed as one seamless itinerary.
