Day-by-day itinerary

1. Day 1: Arusha to Tarangire

   Leave Arusha after breakfast and enter Tarangire in time for a picnic and an afternoon along the river. Baobabs, elephant families and dry-country wildlife create a strong first safari day before continuing to your lodge near Karatu.

2. Day 2: Ngorongoro Crater

   Reach the descent road near opening time and spend the main part of the day on the crater floor. Your guide balances the open grasslands, Lerai forest and hippo pools before climbing back to the highlands.

3. Day 3: Highlands to Arusha

   Enjoy an unhurried breakfast and choose a cultural stop, local market or short nature walk before returning to Arusha. Airport transfer can be coordinated when flight timing allows.
