Day-by-day itinerary

  1. Day 1: Welcome to Arusha

    Private arrival transfer to a leafy Arusha stay. Meet your planner for a detailed briefing and adjust the first departure around how you feel after the flight.

  2. Day 2: Tarangire National Park

    Drive south-west into Tarangire and begin around the northern river circuit. Remain in the park into the cooler afternoon when elephants and other animals often become more active.

  3. Day 3: Tarangire beyond the main tracks

    Explore a different sector with time for patient sightings rather than a checklist. Depending on season and lodge location, add a guided walk or sunset viewpoint outside the park.

  4. Day 4: Lake Manyara and the highlands

    Continue to Lake Manyara for forest and lakeshore habitats, or choose an Mto wa Mbu cultural experience if current park conditions favour it. Sleep in the Ngorongoro highlands.

  5. Day 5: Ngorongoro to Serengeti

    Cross the crater rim and conservation landscape toward the Serengeti. Stop for wildlife and views along the way before an evening game drive near camp.

  6. Day 6: Serengeti in depth

    Dedicate a full day to the ecosystem. Your guide chooses the most productive valleys and plains using seasonal knowledge and recent reports, with a picnic carried for maximum flexibility.

  7. Day 7: Serengeti to Ngorongoro

    Enjoy sunrise on the plains and a final game-drive route toward Naabi Hill. Continue to a crater-rim or highland lodge for a quiet evening.

  8. Day 8: Ngorongoro Crater

    Descend early for the crater’s open grasslands, woodland and wetlands. After lunch, return to Arusha or connect to Kilimanjaro International Airport according to your flight.
