Good mountain gear should keep you dry, warm and able to move, without giving your porter team unnecessary weight.
Build a flexible layering system
Bring a breathable base layer, warm mid-layer, insulated jacket and reliable waterproof shell. Conditions can change several times in one day.
Treat boots and socks as essential
Wear broken-in waterproof boots and test your sock combination before arrival. Blister care belongs in your personal daypack.
Keep summit essentials close
Headlamp, warm gloves, water, snacks, sunglasses and an extra layer should remain with you. Your duffel travels with the porter team between camps.
Pack respectfully
We provide a clear weight allowance and a pre-climb gear check. Rent locally when sensible and never ask the crew to carry beyond regulated limits.
